EEPIS-Online, Sunday morning, March 14th 2010. ITS held 100th graduation ceremony at Graha ITS. Ceremony was startred on 09.00 am. High sunshine was not reducing the enthusiastic of the graduates and family in celebrating today.
There are 84 graduators from 1420 graduators who achieve cumlaude citation. Among the cumlaude graduates, some of them are foreign students coming from Malawi and Sudan.
Graduation ceremony was helding magnificently. Actually, graduating ceremony has been held for two days. Starting from March 13th to March 14th 2010. EEPIS had on second day. In this second day, 700 students from master, bachelor, diploma, and polytechnic were graduated. The atmosphere was so enchant. Smiles and pride are adorning today.
The ceremony was started by ITS rector Prof.Ir. Priyo Suprobo, MS,. Ph.D. Further ceremony such as take the certificate handled by the director or dean. Then, the graduates are greeting to rector.
By wearing toga dress, look so energized. Now, EEPIS are graduating 143 students. It contains of graduators from diploma 3 Electronic 23 students, Telecommunication 14 students, Industrial Electronic 7 students, Informatics Engineering 28 students. Not only the graduate from 4th diploma are 5 coming from Electronics, 1 from Telecommunication, 65 from Informatics Engineering.
“ There is no significantly difference today. It is only amount of graduates graduating today. It because of the graduates are coming from the across programs and those who are not on schedule graduating,†Ir. Dadet Pramadihanto, M.Eng, Ph.D utters.
After graduating from EEPIS, the graduates hoping that they can reach what they want. And all stuffs and lesson can bring benefits in forward. Being entrepreneur is one of salvation to reach the bright future. Being bachelor should bring benefits from others. But, most of graduate of EEPIS has been hiring in some big companies.
“After graduating from here, I want to make some business such as making robotics tutorials for elementary or high school. Because, robotics are futuristic side,†Ali Murtadlo said, the graduate from 4th diploma of Electronic.
Being graduating by having good score and futuristic planning and opportunity is obvious. But, there is something must be learned is about learning is everyday. Learning is never stopped.
“ For alumnus, do not stop learning. All things you will learn. Keep learning!,†Mr. Dadet hopes.(mel)
