EEPIS-Online, The polytechnic graduates is the graduate students who are prepared to become experts in engineering and able to work directly in the work world. Through this forum, EEPIS students is expected to get more knowledge and experience of the alumni who have first understand and enter the situation inside or outside the campus
This was revealed by Mala Aulia, as chairman of the alumnus reunion committee. The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs BEM-EEPIS in the context of the last event before the end of the terms on June 2009. The event which held on Friday (29 / 5) is filled with both sharing and informal discussion among alumni and with students. There are 3 part questioning session with the alumnus, about their experience during college, organize and work.
"The key of success in the terms of college is to take the college as a hobby. No need to SKS (Overnight Learning System) to learn. We have to believe that the quality of education or the bureaucratic system of the college is the best given to students ", said Aryo Septiaji, an alumnus who works as a transmission on TRANS TV, Surabaya.
So did the organization, is helping students in the formation of character. Many of the necessary knowledge in the world of work derived from the organization, such as communications, negotiations, leadership and others who are not taught in college. There are terms that are quite often to heard "No Networking No Working No Money".
After the questioning session, this event followed by dinner and the delivery of impressions and messages from the alumnus to students. They were instructed to always make a difference wherever you can and never forget my beloved alma mater.
Unfortunately, the event which begins at 18:00 until 19:30, did not get much appreciation from the students. It’s occurred from the view number of students who attend this event, so does the alumnus. Given that their activities can not be abandoned. (dha/deka)
