EEPIS Online, (26/08) IPT PENS activities that have been running for three days, has many advantages. After a few days earlier the students was invited to understand EEPIS and teaching-learning activities there, today the fresh students is given the information about student.
Dr. Budi Utomo, M.Kes began the first session today with the introduction about drug dangers. The doctor who is a daily doctor in EEPIS Policlinic didn’t only explain about how danger drugs are but also the information about the history and its distribution in the world. Some fresh students looked serious and took some notes sometimes. Even some students asked about the drugs and how to handle it. “That’s why, don’t event approach or try drugs,†said Dr. Budi ended his presentation.
In the next session, the 3rd Assistant of Director in collegiate field; Drs. Miftahul Huda, Mt, began his presentation by showing the video of the EEPIS robot team competition. “We inculcate the champion tradition in our campus,†said Huda, the nickname of the former chief of Telecommunications Engineering Department after the film was greeted with applause from 560 fresh students. In that occasion, Huda also distributed the guideline book about student services and administration rule for all fresh students there. He also tested the students’ courage by asking two students to come to the front. After giving the impression and answering questions, they were given T-shirts to each of the two fresh students.
"The motivation should be inculcated from the beginning, remembering they (the fresh students) are the people who will continue their seniors’ trace to be the best in the future," said Huda. He also invited EEPIS graduated students who work in the industry and entrepreneurship to close OMB activities today by sharing their experiences and impressions during the study in PENS. (humpens)
