EEPIS Online, About 12 people from Polytechnic management Gorontalo delegation (polygon) on last Thursday, July 16, 2009 visit EEPIS. The visit is implemented in the framework of this comparative study is received directly by Assistant Director of Administration and Finance Division PENS, Bp. Aries Pratiarso, ST, in the courtroom of EEPIS old building.
After watching a brief profile of EEPIS, the delegation of polygon management also began his visit aims and objectives. "We were young and so require a lot of guidance, especially from the senior colleges," said Irwan Karim, one of delegation of polygons management. Two big agenda are discussed on this meeting is about Polytechnic Organizational Restructuring and Development of Academic Systems. Another obstacle which faced as a new polytechnic is the difficulty of regulating both the budget for administration, research and planning and development. "As a follow up of this meeting POLYGON will send their lecturers to study in EEPIS especially in the field of Computer Science," added Aries Pratiarso, ST, MT.
Satisfied with the lengthy discussions with management, they are also visited several laboratories and classrooms and also see the existing facilities in EEPIS. After the campus tour and gift exchange, polygon’s group have to saying goodbye to continue their journey. EEPIS is one of several destination of their visit plan; they are also had visited ITB and Polytechnic of Jember.
Although classified as a Youth Polytechnic, polygons, which has found 4 years ago, has about 79 students that divided into 4 departments, that is : agricultural technology, Manufacturing, Engineering, Information and Civil Engineering.
