EEPIS-Online,(19/10) Tuesday, INUSAT-Inter University Satelite sosialization and seminar was held in EEPIS by Endra Pitowarno as the keynote speaker. It has held for couple hours from 6.00 pm- 8.00 pm at Theatre. The participant was 80 persons contained of all majors students. INUSAT is a latest project of Nano Satelite that is being done by LAPAN. This projects are including 5 leading Universities in Indonesia, EEPIS-ITS is one of.
"It is the first time EEPIS to take Nano Satelite project. So, we hope that we ll not only join to the robot contest but also satelite. No one knows that we able to create satelite control robot."Endra said.
We did this project with UI, ITB, UGM, ITS. We are running this projects in coorporating to LAPAN to develop INUSAT. INUSAT is the satelite project by the second piggy back technology in Indonesia. LAPAN was gliding the former satelite named LAPAN TUBSAT that was made by LAPAN and coorporating with TUB(Technical University of Berlin). It was glade as piggy back rocket gliding PSLV in India 2007.
EEPIS is taking on system ACDS-Attitude Determination Control System maker. Due to EEPIS has pioneering on controlling system in Indonesia. We have plan to run this project in two steps of implementing. This year is for examining and experiment design that start for last September. It was target to be done in this next September.
2011, time for mission design and subsystem ACDS also make instrumental prototype. In this seminar was also recognizing the members of ACDS research from EEPIS. They are Person in charge: Endra P, Researcher: Bambang S, NR. Armi, N.Hanafi, Research Assistant: Gatut H, Research officer: Ita Z. Here also conducting the EEPIS students Hary S, A. Fuady, M.Haikal, Gama, Edo, dan Christianto.
