EEPIS Online, (13/08) Welcoming the Holly Ramadhan 1430 H, EEPIS held a routine religious study in theatre building. This event was attended about 100 participants which were dominated by lecturers and employees. Drs. KH. Syukron Djazilan, M. Ag.; the speaker in this event, brings the participants to the relaxing and entertaining situation. He also gives some jokes sometimes.
“I confused what to tell, all the people here are very smart already,†his joke at the beginning of his study.
However, the solemn atmosphere back when he was told about the fasting that is part of the pillars of Islam. After reading the two sentences creed, praying, Zakat, Fasting, and the last are the hajj. KH.Syukron gives many parable inspirations in her study.
Pray is like drinking beer. People can enjoy a beer if you drink beer until drunk. Likewise with pray if you want to enjoy it then multiply and prayed regularly.
He said that fasting is like tapai water. “tapai water is so fresh but not all tapai can produce the water.†Tapai can produce water if it is making good. Selection of cassava has to good and clean. It is like fasting. Someone’s fasting will get a blessing from Allah SWT when we have a pure intention. Lillahita’ala. Next, the cassava is fermented and wrapped tight. The cassava won’t be a tapai if it is opened often. Just like fasting, someone’s fasting won’t get a blessing if he or she likes to tell the others about their fasting.
