EEPIS Online, Beside KRI and KRCI, running tests of KRSI also attracted the people attention, because this is the first art robot competitions in Indonesia. The uniqueness of the robot looks when each team displayed on the stage. Robot with a Barbie doll face, a robot resembling ondel-ondel, a robot with a puppet s face, sinden-shaped robot, and other more attention enough participants.
Before implementation of the KRSI running tests, the jury had delivered some assessment points in this contest. Some of those assessments are the knowledge about the robots that they have made, the shape and physical appearance and the most important is the ability to control the robot motion is based on the rhythm of music. Then the jury asked some questions to be answered by every representative participant. "You have to answer questions from the jury in order to get the value of the robot system mekatroniks dancers", said the jury to the participants. The juries further assess the exterior design element that suggests the art. After that the costumes of each robot opened to assess the structure inside. "Opening a robot suit is not as easy as opening the clothes made, so expect his patience." Said the jury.
The order of these twelve robot are composed of Scylia (ITS), SRI (EEPIS), Art Sabiya (Astra Manufacture Polytechnic), LOKATMALA (State Polytechnic Bandung), ELITE (National Institute of Technology Malang), GENDING 205 (STMIK "MDP" Palembang ), SISUI (Mercu Buana University), NO-Gleng (Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta), Q-Think (Merdeka University of Malang), MARAWIZ (Bhayangkara University of Surabaya), Aadiyat (Sriwijaya University), Luviouzo (University of Gadjah Mada). Robot must arrange in right order of the numbers 7-12 in front of the numbers 1-6.
In each session of the game, two teams of robots will be placed on the stage, each robot is placed in a white circle with 2000mm diameter, and thick white line border is about 30 mm. This circle serves as a boundary movement for the robots on doing a dance performance by following the strains of music which has been provided by the committee.
While the song and instruments are played by the committee, the juries walk around to giving an assessment for each robot. The category of assessment comprises the movement synchronization with the music of Bubuy Bulan, a traditional song from west java, then the variation of the movement such as : the flexibility of the robot when did dancing, the sawyer of the hips, and the hands, foot and the head robot movements.
Other provisions of the jury is to use the robot s ears (sensors) as a listener, the total value will be multiplied by a factor 1.6, while for the robot which is use cables to listen to music does not get the extra score of the multiplier factor.
