Secretary of East Java and Chief Education Department of East Java Attended In Signing of Comunity College MOU

EEPIS-Online,graduation ceremonial of 400 graduators of East Java Community College have held. This event was starting from 09.00 a.m at Graha Sepuluh November that was attended by Director of EEPIS Ir. Dadet Pramadihanto, M.Eng, Ph.D, Secretary of East Java Province Dr.H.Rasiyo, Chief of Educational Departement of East Java Drs. H. Suwanto and another high functionaries.

    starting this, Dadet Pramadihanto , The Director of EEPIS gave his speech about the short report concern to CC development. In his report , there have been 3027 persons graduated from CC. Alumnus of CC are hiring in many sectors such as industry, region governance or entrepreneurship also.

    One of alumnus, Dona Wahyu represented to explain her experience in learning at CC. This Graduator from Blitar CC in this 2005 has oppurtunity to do research studies at USA, being game mobile trainer in Vietnam and she has good carrier at SEAMOLEC, as Educational Mobile Game Developer.

"Nowadays, CC is not only the alternative education but also be the alternative path for those who want developing their knowledge and competences. In spite of the cost is cheaper but the teacher are really competence," Dona said. This statement are also fixed by Dadet toward 80% of CC teacher has owned international certification from IT Vendor.

CC program is a year educational program for Vocational High School or Senior High School graduators. This program are purposing to increase the competency of graduators in carrier by increasing the skiil and competency for a year. Moreover, this program are also purposing to rapid IT application in every region and decrease the non skiil workers.

Secretary of East Java province are acknowledge to CC program development. This program are related to Province Government to increase the spread of Education access for those are not good in finance or the poor. In his opinion, CC are properly to be applied because the demand of applied workers are high. So, Vocational education based on competence are becoming a choice.

" In East Java there are many graduator of Junior High School that are not ready to work actually. They became underage worker due to economic problem. By seeing this Province Government try to facilitate this untill the 12 year compulsory are reached," He said. Chief of Educational Department also said his support to give scholarship as CC Educational Program Finance. " So, the poor in region can feel and have the access of high education as city likely through Community College," Suwanto added.

In the same oppurtunity, the sign of MOU between EEPIS director and 19 director CC at East Java. This signing are acknowledged by Chief of East Java Educational Department and Secretary of East Java Government, 400 graduators of CC and the representatives from Pacitan, Ponorogo, Madiun, Magetan, Nganjuk, Kediri, Jombang, Mojokerto, Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Pasuruan, Situbondo, Bondowoso, Banyuwangi, Blitar, Lamongan Tuban, Bojonegoro, and Tulungangung(eepispr/mel/ent)
