TECHNOLOGY UPDATE SEMINAR ENCOURAGE STUDENT’S KNOWLEDGE

EEPIS-ONLINE, Saturday(03/27) Technology Update Seminar was held in Pascasarjana building of ITS. The seminar was discussing theme of “Maximize Ur PC” while gave computer science matters to optimize its performance.
BEM PENS ITS as the official event organizer corporate to AMD and Gigabyte. This event is one of the whole events of AMD and Gigabyte roadshows to all universities all over Indonesia. “this roadshow is education activities done by AMD and Gigabyte of course to give update information instead AMD and Gigabyte”, Aji utters as Roadshow Event Organizer of ABPromosindo.
First keynote speaker was Irwan Gunanto attends as the representative of Western Digital Indonesia. Irwan explored Storage technology all about, such as harddrive. In his matters, he explained the development of harddrive started from its released until the newest including the beneficial.
Of course not only Irwan but Benny lodewijk from Gigabyte Jakarta also came introduced motherboard new technology that founded by Gigabyte in matters session Deep Inside Gigabyte technology. The next keynote speaker was Omar Tessar from Tessar Webmedia with his matters about Multimedia PC for designer.
Tessar explained to show his graphic design and 3 dimensions which can be made in PC.
The event was attended by more than 300 participants go running well. The participants were not coming from Surabaya students but also from all over East Java. In the sessions there was the asking sessions. In this session, they were asking about the inconvenience of their pc. Participants was satisfy with the answer of keynote speaker.
Participants were going in more interesting when the speaker practicing the demo of overclocking. In this part AMD showed by doing update of BIOS.(dwe/mel)
