The first match will be opened by a game between BOLOKULOWO (ITS) team and R-PNM (Negeri Malang Polytechnic) team at 08.15 am. BOLOKUWOLO retry 2 times in 01:30 seconds on the other hand R-PNM reached 1st check point. The second match between Zhafarul from UMM in the red corner against PPNS CATAMARAM from the blue corner. Both of the teams succeed to reach the 1st check point and succeed to pass the mountain. But the blue team is less able to run its robot at the time of climbing a mountain, even they succeed in 1st check point. In 2nd check point, the red team succeeds to pass trees’ trials. So the jury decided Zhafarul’s team won this game.
The next match was between Ghen_LabE from Ubhara against WIMATE_ConG from UWM Surabaya. In the beginning of the game there were no robots that can pass the 1st check point. Ghen_labE successfully passed the 1st check point and able to pass the mountain, though forced to re-try. By the tricks, automated robots can not advance if there is no command from the manual robot. It adds a plus point for them. So the victory was in the Ghen_labE.
The next game was SWC-08 (STIKOMP) against Sandelwood (Kupang Polytechnic). Both blue corner and red corner were not success to reach 1st check point. Kupang polytechnic team has become the third year to send their team into KRI. It seemed, SWC-08 did not target too far to reach 1st check point. STIKOM team has been able to beat Kupang Polytechnic.
D4 = S1 against PEAK_COOL. In a short time, EEPIS’s team had finished all drums, while PEAK_COOL team still stuck in the start at 02.02 seconds.
Surprisingly, ITATSU resigned. Brawijaya team sure that their team must be won against ITATS. They asked the jury to show their ability in the red arena. Have reached the 3rd check point, the jury was curious on how phi_cool beat the drum. Unexpectedly, phi_cool beat the drum uniquely (1 batter hit the drum one by one from below. Each drum was beaten twice from the down to the top drums.
Rengganis on the red side with 02.40 seconds left time, has reached 2nd check point. MB_015 still rolled with automated robots at 1st check point. Although MB_015 has reached 2nd check point, but RENGGANIS still can not overtaken by them because UNESA team (RENGGANIS) has reached the 3rd check point. UNESA team able to beat the three drums, but unfortunately the time had expired when the 3rd drum was beaten.
DENGE_DOJA at the blue corner and ARC_09 at the red corner, the two robots which made in Makasar fight in the KRI arena supportively. Blue team has reached the 1st check point, while the red team seemed difficult to pick up the traveler. Remaining time is 00:38 seconds, both of them have not climbed the mountain consequently they have to retry again. Until the time expires on the mountain, DENGE_DOJA run on the quarter-finals.
From 1st regional to 4th regional, only in 4th regional, the robots were capable to pass the mountain. (ent)
