EEPIS Online, It is a room protector system basically. Combining the vision computer and control computer where the camera seems can watch and give response directly when a person creeping the room. The response is shooting the creeper directly.
In Final Project Competition, the device made by Candra Uji W.P; the EEPIS student in Information Technology major, will be presented. You will see a laptop with a gun completed with a scout camera on it. Final project named Simulasi Penembak Jitu Dengan Metode Colour Tracking operated by selecting a visual image that get in to the room. That image visualization will simulate certain people considered as a creeper. “The device will keep following and shooting until the creeper get down,†Candra explained to the judges when he demonstrating his device.
Basically, it is very simple, but not as simple as making it. It because Candra; who waiting for his final thesis assessment, needs 3-4 months to make it. Moreover when he had to face a hard phase to solve the vision computer problem to prevent the light factor that can affect the changes of color.
“For friends who want to perfect this device, I suggest to replace the motor with crop motor so that the movement of the camera can be faster when scouting,†said Candra.
It is possible that this application will helpful for the community that wants to protect their room. Moreover in terrorism issues that meke the government and all people should be more aware.
Candra also cost 3-4 million rupiahs in making this device. But it is worthy because his creation achieves the 2nd champion in Final Project Competition 2009. Congrats!
