EEPIS Online, Last Monday, May 18, 2009 EEPIS Management again receives the visit of approximately 26 students from the Department of Information Technology State Polytechnic Samarinda (Polines) and it s faculty mentor. This visit was not only a study tour but also wanted to see the event contest robot and intelligent robot competitions Indonesia a few days earlier at the Graha Sepuluh November.
Questions about teaching and learning process in EEPIS and about making robots are the questions that often raised by the 4th semester students majoring in IT Polines. They were then visited in Mechatronics Laboratory of EPPIS Department to see the process of a robotics project. They had seen a demo robot line tracer, discuss and view the video of a robot contest in the same second diploma level of a Japanese version.
Satisfied of watching robots attractions in Mechatronics lab, they were around to see the facilities and teaching-learning process which is conducted in several laboratories in the EEPIS, including: Lab. of Programming and Lab. of Telecommunications. According to M. Zainul Rohman, S. ST, former students across programs which EEPIS lines as well as Chairman of the Department of Information Technology in Polines students who have a lot of interest in the field of robotics.
