EEPIS Online, (18.02) this afternoon Junior High School Students visited EEPIS. "Every year, our school held goes to Campus or company to broaden the students’ know ledges. Incidentally, this is our first visit to EEPIS, “said the Junior High School teachers. First, they visited Graha Pena, then the Rector of ITS, followed by a visit to the PENS and ends the trip to Water Park.
Students from the Department of Computer and Network were very enthusiastic when was shown around the laboratory (lab) primarily because EEPIS has complete facilities and equipment. Lab that they visited were Network Computer Lab, Programming Lab, and Cad Cam Lab. But unfortunately, only 3 labs that can be visited because of time is up and also because the Lab assistant wasn’t in the Lab at that time.
Although the visiting was quite short, this visiting was expected to provide motivation for students to continue their education to college. Like EEPIS, vocational students would have a better ability for practical because they are more dominant than high school students. Although, they can get a job after graduated from SMK but it would be nice if they further deepen the level of higher education given the global competition tighter. (su i)
