EEPIS-Online, Besides as a source of inspiration and information for its own students, PENS also be a source of information from other university. This is evidenced by the visit of students from the Electrical Department, Information Engineering Education Study Program, State University of Malang on on 14 November 2010.
The delegation was welcomed by Ms. Andri Suryandari as PR PENS in the theater PENS. In the general introduction of PENS, UNM students seemed very enthusiastic with PENS, especially in terms of robotics. "PENS is famous for its robot, so we want to know how the tricks of the PENS so they can always win in robot race. We also want to know how the education system in PENS, o that we can make it as an example and
applied on our campus", said Mrs. Yuni as lecturers from UNM.
In addition to events in the theater, these students also traveled to several laboratories in the PENS, such as Multimedia Broadcasting Laboratory, Mechatronics Laboratory, and Information Engineering Laboratory. In each laboratory, the group will also get an explanation about the function of each Laboratory.
UNM student enthusiasm was also seen when they visited Mechatronics Laboratory. They were greeted by Mr. Indra Aji and demonstrated the newest research robot, euForio. The visit was concluded with the introduction of Informatics Engineering Laboratory. PENS is more complete and latest in technology, so we hope to follow up this visit with some cooperation with the PENS" said Mr. Made Wirawan as lecturers from UNM.(dip)
