EEPIS-Online, Thursday (01/13) Engineering Corps arrived in PENS Service. ESC is a composite group of students from Pusan National University and PENS students who have a program to create appropriate technologies for the community. This activity also involves a number of professors and lecturers who are members of Pusan National University, Innovation Centre for Engineering Education (PICEE).
This morning (01/13) they perform during the opening ceremony for the activities in Indonesia. Activities held in the theater was attended by a number of academic community PENS and Pusan National University (PNU). The students involved in the ESC are students who have passed in the Ideas Competition last year. PENS Students Gama include Indra, Lucky Gifts, Arga Dwi Pambudi, Rodik Indrawan, Kamajaya Son, Diki Arya Nugraha, Arik Setiyono, Galina Hidalgo. Not only students from Indonesia, but also a number of students from PNU.
In the previous week, the conference concern of this programme has held conferences in Bussan, South Korea-related community service programs in Indonesia. The team will undertake a number of agenda in Indonesia during the coming week. The event was such as to check and installation of street lights which will be held at the Keputih region, Surabaya. This project is deemed appropriate for the area there has been no street lights so often make difficult the people.
In the opening ceremony, Dr. Rusminto Tjatur Widodo, ST delivered remarks at the event by describing how existing education system in PENS. Then proceed by Professor Chae Won from Pusan. "I hope that with the existence of this activity is the relationship between the two institutions to continue and become stronger." He said. (mel)
