EEPIS-Online, Today (15 / 1) was the last day to students of Korea and Indonesia (PENS) in the team ESC (Engineering Service Corps) to finish their projects. In two days, the ESC team has helped the citizen of Keputih Tegal Timur – Surabaya in the installation of solar photovoltaic power street lights, water purify, and renovation of hall residents. Activities on this day they began to start at 09.30 am.
ESC program closing ceremony held in front of the Library (KOIN Dulur) on at 2.30 pm. Closure begins with a welcome from the Assistant Director III PENS, Drs.Miftahul Huda, MT. He is expressed many thanks to all Korean Team, it is PNU (Pusan National University) for all the cooperation and assistance to the citizens in Keputih Tegal Timur. Then followed by remarks from Prof. Choi Jae-Won from PNU, Mr Rusminto as Assistant Director I PENS, and Chairman of the local RT, Mr Suwandi. All parties expressed gratitude for all the cooperation this program, and hope that this program would continue through subsequent years.
Professor Choi symbolically handed over 660 books donated to Mr Suwandi to KoIN Dulur Library. ESC team also donated some of the trash can for the citizens around. The event closed with the submission of souvenirs from the PENS-ITS to the PNU and KBS TV (Korean National TV), which also cover the event, and do not forget to show a photo together as a memento.
