Industry visit, State University of Padang to PENS

EEPIS-Online, As the leading polytechnic in Indonesia, PENS is often the purpose of the visit to learn from other educational institutions, not just the level of higher education, but also for vocational and high school. Wednesday (11/01) at 13.00, as many as 50 students from the Faculty of Engineering, Electronics Engineering Department, University of Padang (UNP) came in PENS. The visit is entered in the work program of the Student Association of Electronics Engineering, Industrial Visits Program.

Mr. Slamet as faculty representative from the Faculty of Engineering, UNP, was deeply impressed with the achievements in the field of robotics PENS. Especially after knowing that the PENS won MURI record for victories Nasinal Robot Contest as many as eleven times. He also asked a lot of things, especially about the planned opening of the master program applied (S2) to be opened this year PENS.

UNP delegation s visit is already the third time. Each year, the UNP has always held a regular industrial visits in PENS. In addition to knowing how often memengangkan PENS robot competition, a student group consisting of 3 to 7 semesters also want to know and learn about the science of multimedia broadcasting in PENS. Time of entry into the multimedia lab that contains the device broadcasting, they were immediately impressed. "Very good lab, I wanted to learn a lot here.", Said Willy, one of the students UNP.

Going forward, the science that has been received by them will be applied into daily life. Going forward, the UNP hopes to improve the system in order to best PENS. "I am impressed with this campus.
