Accoustic Music at Telcom Cup 2012

EEPIS-Online, Telkom Cup Series event conducted by the Student Association of Telecommunication Engineering impressed looks different this time with the event last year. This year HIMA Telkom adds acoustic music group as one of the activity that are contested. Precisely today (22/11) at canteen held telkom acoustic music cup for the first time. The competition will be followed by 16 students from all of the class in telecommunication engineering department. The competition uses a stage group system, with each of the eight groups of participants is the representative of each class. So in that qualifying first and second race will be taken each 3 group as the winner of preliminary round and the winner will advance to the semifinals. Participants are required to bring 2 pieces of free tracks with their own arrangements, for the preliminary round, the participants are free to choose the two songs they played. For the semifinal participants will be given an anthem and a free song, to tighten the competition.

That are M. Akbar Rahadian Prakosa, Raheldan Dewandhana, Hendra Krismawan which is the jury in this competition, the three of them were members students of UKM music PENS. For the assessment criteria, participants will be assessed from the cohesiveness of the group and  their class, harmony, vocals, and arrangements. The amount of time provided by the committee is 15 minutes including a sound check for each group. "Acoustic music competition is quite interesting because it had never been there, so that my friends who have a hobby of music can not channel their creativity," said Achmad Fatkhul Mubin, one telekomunication Engineering student.

"Since this is the first event in the telkom cup so I hope for the future, there could be a race like this could be a more lively and well organized," said Ega, personin charge of this event.
